EXCLUSIVEScoot McNairy is reuniting with his Halt and Catch Fire co-creator and showrunner Christopher Cantwell for The H Collective’s The Parts You Lose, which Cantwell is directing. Currently filming in Canada, the Darren Lemke-scripted film stars Aaron Paul, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and newcomer Danny Murphy.

The dramatic thriller centers on the unlikely friendship that unfolds between a young deaf boy, Wesley (Murphy), and a fugitive criminal who takes refuge in an abandoned barn on the family’s rural North Dakota farm. After forming a deep bond with the man, Wesley must decide where to place his allegiances when the authorities begin to close in on the fugitive. McNairy’s character is Ronnie, Wesley’s father.

The H Collective is fully financing and overseeing production on the film, which falls under the company’s production deal with Breaking Bad producer Mark Johnson, who is producing under his Gran Via banner with Paul and Tom Williams.

McNairy currently stars in the Netflix series Godless and recently wrapped filming The Legacy Of A Whitetail Deer Hunter with Josh Brolin and Danny McBride.

He’s repped WME and The Group Management.
